Laboratory Manager – High Voltage Testing

Leadership of a laboratory team for high voltage testing in the energy sector, with a focus on process optimization and team development.

Tasks

• Leadership of the laboratory team including resource management and team development (15 full-time positions)
• Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards (IEC/IEEE)
• Analysis and implementation of efficient production and business processes
• Ensuring reliable high voltage testing procedures (AC, DC, impulse, partial discharge)
• Identification and integration of new technologies as part of the continuous improvement process
• Collaboration with planning, quality assurance, logistics and other production departments
• Development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) with reporting to the operations manager

Profile

• Technical education and qualification (Bachelor/Master) in electrical engineering or equivalent
• Several years of experience in a comparable leadership position in the field of high voltage testing or insulation technology
• Sound knowledge of high voltage systems, generators and automation systems
• Sound knowledge of Lean Management, Six Sigma and other process optimization methods
• Experience in leading and motivating cross-functional teams
• Fluent German and English
