Tasks

You bear the overall technical, personnel, and financial responsibility for the unit.

• Leadership and development of 5 team leaders and around 75 employees as well as promotion of performance-oriented, binding, and appreciative cooperation
• Ensuring high-quality, customer-oriented, and economical cleaning as well as continuous further development of strategies, concepts, and processes
• Budget, cost, procurement, and resource responsibility
• Planning and implementation of tenders, contract awards, and management of external service providers
• Promotion and targeted use of modern cleaning systems and digitalization to optimize processes and services
• Ensuring ecological and sustainable waste management and disposal
• Responsible for the implementation of specifications in the areas of occupational safety and fire protection
• Responsibility for the operation of the sports facility, the customer service (parking management, event service, information desk)
• Strategic management of the unit towards a modern, sustainable, and economical Facility Service
• Support of internal and external stakeholders as well as development of constructive and long-term sustainable solutions together with the relevant partners

Profile

You have a sound education in Facility Management and proven experience in professional cleaning.

• Higher education in Facility Management, e.g., FH or comparable qualification
• Several years of leadership and professional experience in professional cleaning with sound knowledge in cleaning organization, quality assurance, cleaning technology, and value preservation
• Ideally experience in facility or building management as well as in service, process, and quality management
• Practice in tendering, procurement, and management of external service providers
• Strong business understanding as well as the competence to formulate strategies and business plans
• Experience with budget and cost responsibility as well as the creation of forecasts
• Interest in digitalization, sustainability, and modern FM concepts
• Appreciative, clear, and binding leadership personality with high social competence
• Strong communication skills, solution-oriented, and thinking entrepreneurially
• Good IT user knowledge and digital affinity
• English skills are an advantage
