GenAI Engineer

Tasks

• Design, implementation and further development of RAG cases on a GenAI platform in a banking environment
• Developing, implementing and evaluating robust, production-ready GenAI solutions, especially Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), using modern AI technologies and proven software engineering practices
• Creating, providing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and APIs to support GenAI applications, inference and real-time integration into corporate systems
• Technical conception and implementation of new requirements for AI use cases (RAG, patterns, self-service) as well as their ongoing further development and optimization
• Collaboration with Cloud Engineers, Business Engineers, Data Scientists, other DevOps teams and stakeholders from the specialist departments to transition prototypes into operational solutions
• Continuous monitoring, tuning of the use of GenAI solutions in production environments to ensure reliability, scalability and alignment with business goals

Requirements

• Several years of experience in the engineering of GenAI solutions, especially Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), as well as prompt and context engineering
• Familiarity with frameworks and tools such as LangFuse, LangChain and other driving technologies
• Sound knowledge of cloud platforms, ideally based on Azure, and services such as App Service, Container Apps, Azure AI Foundry and Azure AI Search or comparable cloud platforms
• Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines, API development for model integration, as well as LLM tracing, LLMOps & evaluations
• Sound programming skills in Python, as well as scripting languages (e.g. Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with test automation, automatic deployments and iterative validation of GenAI solutions
• Fluent German skills
• Good English skills
