In the role of Business Analyst, you will strengthen the Information & Technology area in the Solution Domain P&C at Zurich Schweiz and contribute decisively to the collective success with your work.

You will become part of one of the most important strategic P&C initiatives of Zurich Schweiz, in which we design and implement future products, processes, and technologies. As a Business Analyst with a focus on integration, you will take on a central role at the interface between the business and IT worlds: you will analyze processes and system interfaces, create sound integration specifications, and work together with development teams and stakeholders to ensure that our systems work together seamlessly along the value chain.

What awaits you

• You analyze and document process and interface requirements between Guidewire and adjacent Zurich systems along the P&C value chain
• You create precise integration specifications, for example API definitions, data flows, and mappings, as a basis for implementation by the development teams
• You work closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, development teams, and subject matter experts and ensure smooth end-to-end processes
• You translate complex integration requirements into actionable user stories and support the team during implementation, integration tests, and go-live
• You coordinate requirements across different systems, teams, and departments and are the central contact person for integration questions

What distinguishes you

• You have a completed degree, for example in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or Business Administration, or a comparable qualification as well as several years of experience as a Business Analyst or Requirements Engineer in an agile environment
• You bring sound experience in the analysis and specification of system integrations, for example REST/SOAP APIs, event-based architectures, message queues, data flows, and mappings
• You have demonstrable experience in the insurance environment, ideally with Guidewire systems such as PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, Jutro Digital Platform, or Integration Gateway and their embedding in complex IT architectures
• You convince with strong analytical and conceptual skills, a structured way of working, and the ability to communicate technical matters in a target-group-oriented manner
• You have very good German and/or English skills at C1/C2 level
