Job Description In this versatile and responsible role, you will take on a central role in the further development, support, and securing of our ICT infrastructure. Your focus is on the operation, planning, and optimization of our network environment, which is primarily based on Cisco. In addition, you support operations in the Microsoft and Linux environments with your knowledge and master certificate management. Your main tasks include: * Further development and conception of our ICT infrastructure with a focus on networking * Operation, administration, and optimization of Cisco network solutions * Planning, configuration, installation, and support of network components such as switches, routers, firewalls, and WLAN infrastructures * Implementation and support of SD-WAN and MPLS solutions * Conception and maintenance of network zones / zoning to secure the infrastructure * Ensuring a stable, secure, and performant available network operation * Analysis and rectification of malfunctions and error states in the network and system environment * Management of projects in the network environment * Participation in infrastructure projects * Representation of Elektro-Material in international projects of the Rexel group * Implementation of security requirements in the network and system environment * Creation, maintenance, and further development of system technical and network-related documentation * Cooperation with internal contact persons, specialist departments, and external partners * Support in client engineering as well as in topics related to SCCM, GPO, AD, and Workplace Security * Participation in the standardization and automation of ICT processes Qualifications For this demanding function we are looking for a technically savvy personality with extensive sound experience in the network area and a pronounced understanding of security and complex relationships.
