Your challenge Closings & Accounting You take responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and ensure that these are prepared cleanly, correctly, and on time You ensure correct postings according to OR and IFRS and contribute your closing expertise specifically to more complex issues You support tax, management accounting, and reporting topics and ensure a reliable financial data basis Process Development & Integration You participate in the centralization and harmonization of the accounting processes and structurally further develop existing workflows You optimize interfaces to internal departments such as HR, Controlling, FP&A, and other specialist departments You support the integration of acquired companies and help to sustainably unify structures, processes, and standards Deputization & Development Perspective You support the Head of Accounting in operational day-to-day business and take on responsibility as a reliable deputy You actively contribute to the further development of the team and ensure that operational quality and pragmatic solutions come together : In this role, you combine operational closing expertise with process understanding, enjoyment of people, and a passion for shaping. You ensure that numbers are correct, processes work, and the accounting of Howden Schweiz keeps pace with growth. Your qualities and talents You have a degree as a Swiss Federal Diploma Expert in Accounting and Controlling or as a Fiduciary Expert with a strong accounting and closing focus You bring at least five years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a group environment or a comparably complex organization (> 150 employees) Monthly, quarterly, and annual closings according to OR and IFRS are part of your professional daily routine You have very good Excel skills and bring experience with Abacus Process optimization, harmonization, and the further development of accounting structures give you joy Experience with more complex cost center, location, or establishment structures is a great advantage You work accurately, pragmatically, and solution-oriented and like to take on responsibility in the team You master German at a native level, you speak English very well; French skills are a plus Does it appeal to you to take on a central accounting role with development perspectives, scope for design, and responsibility in an extraordinary growth story?
