Warehouse Manager - International Moving

Your Missions ##

Warehouse management:

• Ensure the daily management and smooth functioning of the warehouse.
• Organize and control the entry and exit of goods.
• Ensure the monitoring of stocks, inventories and the various flows of material.
• Guarantee the good organization and maintenance of the site.
• Ensure the safety and security of the warehouse.
• Enforce health and safety rules at work.

Coordination of operations:

• Coordinate and plan international moving operations in connection with the various stakeholders.
• Plan teams composed of 3 movers, as well as local subcontractors.
• Organize the resources necessary for the smooth running of operations.
• Ensure operational monitoring and contribute to the resolution of any unforeseen events.

Vehicle and fleet management:

• Plan the use of vehicles according to operational needs.
• Ensure the monitoring and maintenance of the fleet composed of 1 heavy goods vehicle and 2 vans.
• Ensure the general good condition and availability of the vehicles.

Operational participation:

Depending on needs, you may be required to:

• Occasionally participate in moving operations.
• Carry out small deliveries of material.
• Provide operational support to teams in the field.

Your profile ##

• Professional experience in international moving, logistics or a similar field.
• Heavy goods vehicle permit indispensable.
• Very good knowledge of the logistics environment and the constraints related to moving operations.
• Ability to organize and coordinate several activities simultaneously.
• Sense of responsibility, autonomy and practical spirit.
• Good communication and coordination skills with teams, clients and partners.
• Particular sensitivity to safety issues and respect for procedures.

Languages ###

• German: mandatory, bilingual or fluent level.
• English or French: mandatory bilingual mastery of one of the two languages.
