We are looking for a Specialist in Childcare ISR to strengthen our team, effective immediately or by arrangement.

Tasks ##

• You accompany and care for a child with special needs in the school-supplementary care
• You support the care teams as a specialist in childcare in everyday life and keep a cool head even in challenging situations. The team is led by a care facility management.
• You perform the workload on 5 days per week and work in a team of 4.
• Currently, the shifts are 11.30 to 17.00 on 4 days and one day from 11.30 to 14.00.
• In the catering and care areas, you will be supported by a care assistant.
• If required, assignments during school holidays may be added, but these are not mandatory to perform and would be paid additionally

Profile ##

• Completion as EFZ Fachperson Betreuung, dipl. KleinkinderzieherIn, SozialagogIn EFZ, (for applications with a foreign diploma / professional certificate, Swiss diploma recognition must be mandatorily attached)
• Motivated, open, resilient personality with a positive view of people
• Flexibility as well as very good teamwork and communication skills
• Joy in dealing with people of different cultures and readiness for interdisciplinary cooperation within the school team
• Readiness to take on a substitute function
• Professional experience in family-supplementary care is an advantage

About us ##

We are a large school community in Zürich-Nord with 18 schools. We derive our pedagogical stance from the concept of New Authority and thus meet the daily challenges in everyday school life together and effectively.

The City of Zürich is divided into 7 school districts. The Zürich-Glattal school district includes the districts of Affoltern, Seebach and Oerlikon and has around 6500 school-age children. Since the year 2002, all our 18 schools have been managed. All care facilities are assigned to a school unit. The care facilities that belong to a school unit are led by a care management.

The midday / evening care Eichrain 3 belongs to Schule Kolbenacker in Zürich Seebach. In this care facility, up to 30 students from kindergarten to lower primary age are catered and cared for daily. The children's care facility is open from Monday to Friday from 11.55 to 18.00.
