Accounting Manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Functional and personnel leadership as well as further development of the Accounting and Cash Collection team
• Overall responsibility for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting
• Close cooperation with payroll and other internal specialist departments
• Ensuring correct and timely recording of all business transactions
• Responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to applicable accounting standards
• Control of VAT returns and ensuring compliance with tax requirements
• Contact person for auditors, tax advisors, and external auditing bodies
• Further development and optimization of accounting processes as well as the internal control system
• Management of payment runs and ensuring efficient receivables management
• Preparation and processing of relevant financial key figures and reporting for the Swiss organization
• Participation in cross-departmental finance and company projects

Your profile:

• Completed degree in the field of business administration, finance, or accounting, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting
• Ideally initial functional or personnel leadership experience
• Sound knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounting as well as financial closing
• Good knowledge of Swiss tax law and VAT
• Knowledge of Swiss labor law and its impact on payroll and financial accounting is an advantage
• Proficient use of MS Office and experience with ERP systems
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• High social competence, assertiveness, as well as strong communication and organizational skills
