Head of Logistics, 80-100 %

Due to an upcoming retirement, we are looking for a dedicated successor as Head of Logistics as of 1 January 2027 (or by arrangement). In this key position, you will lead around 11 directly subordinate employees and manage the entire logistics chain. You bear the responsibility for ensuring that all required materials, spare parts, and operating resources are always at the right place at the right time.

Tasks ##

• Warehouse and inventory management as well as procurement: You manage the central and external warehouses and ensure the availability of critical materials and operating resources. You are responsible for the demand-oriented procurement of materials and services according to the applicable tender and procurement regulations and ensure legally secure awarding.
• Fleet and transport management: You are responsible for the planning and dispatching of all internal and external transports as well as the management, maintenance, and further development of our vehicle fleet.
• Process optimization and digitalization: You optimize logistical processes, define standards, and drive the digitalization of logistics processes.
• Organization and administration: You support the planning of events regarding infrastructure and logistics, support the Facility Service in Hardhof with your team, and participate in budget planning.
• Occupational safety and environment: You ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and health regulations and are responsible for the proper and environmentally compliant disposal of materials and waste. Additionally, you ensure the availability of work clothing and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Profile ##

• Training as a Logistikerin EFZ, Kaufmannfrau EFZ, or in a technical profession with sound experience in procurement or logistics; further training in the fields of logistics, Supply Chain Management, purchasing, or business administration
• Several years of leadership experience in the areas of warehouse management, logistics, procurement, or material management
• You have a flair for actively shaping change and optimization processes, driving new solutions, and taking employees along on this path
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP knowledge is a great advantage
• Driver's license category B
