The Bathing and Ice Facilities department is responsible, with around 350 employees, for the operation of around 21 indoor and outdoor pools as well as two ice facilities.

To reinforce our existing teams, we are looking for a dedicated and independent

Bathing Employee, 40-70%

for our Hallenbad Bläsi starting from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.

Tasks

• Take responsibility for supervision, rescue operations, medical services, as well as cashier activities
• Ensuring safety and order at the facility
• Looking after the bath guests
• Carrying out general cleaning tasks
• Execution of maintenance and repair work

Profile

• Schwimmbrevet IGBA PRO, Brevet Schweizer Bademeister*in or SLRG Brevet PRO Pool, including BLS-AED (certificates must not be older than 1 year)
• Enjoyment in dealing with guests and strong service orientation
• Very good oral German skills
• Independent, reliable, and careful way of working
• Technical understanding and interest

About us

The Sportamt is a service department of the Schul- und Sportdepartements of the Stadt Zürich. It is the competence center for sports promotion and provides sports facilities as well as indoor and outdoor pools to the athletically active population and clubs. The organization of compulsory swimming lessons as well as voluntary school sports also count among the core tasks of the Sportamt. With targeted information, the Sportamt motivates more movement and advises and supports sports organizations.
