AI Engineer (w/m/d) 80–100% Live your ambitions Zürich Swiss Life AG Live versatility Your area of responsibility * You continuously improve the retrieval and response quality of our AI solutions by developing, optimizing, and evaluating the RAG pipeline along the entire processing chain * You design and implement agentic AI workflows to automate and support internal processes * You continuously expand our Finance AI platform in Python, from the Chainlit frontend through the agentic orchestrator and the ingestion pipeline to the MCP-based tool connection * You work with Microsoft Azure and Azure AI Foundry in the areas of agent orchestration, model deployments, prompt engineering, evaluation, and monitoring * You connect internal systems and data sources to the platform and its agents using Tool Use, Function Calling, APIs, and document processing * You ensure high code and solution quality through code reviews as well as manual and automated tests Live potential Your strengths * You have at least five years of experience in software development in an enterprise environment and are well acquainted with common development processes and toolchains * You bring excellent Python skills as well as practical frontend experience with React, Chainlit, or comparable technologies; knowledge in the area of Infrastructure as Code completes your profile * Sound practical experience with RAG architectures is part of your technical toolkit, especially in the areas of retrieval, embeddings, vector and hybrid search, as well as evaluation * You have demonstrable experience in the development of agentic LLM applications and the implementation of complex, multi-step AI workflows * You work confidently with cloud environments, ideally with Microsoft Azure, Azure AI Search, Azure AI Foundry, and Cosmos DB or comparable services, and bring experience in the containerization of applications * Your way of working is independent, structured, and quality-oriented; furthermore, you have German and English skills at least at level B2 Your contact Camila Bopp HR Consulting Partner About Swiss Life With our individual pension and financial advisory services, we accompany people in all situations of life in preparing for their financial future and support them in designing their lives with financial self-determination.
