Your tasks

• Overall management of the Special Education Schools department
• Pedagogical, personnel, and financial school management of the Heilpädagogische Schule Zürich
• Further development of the schools in cooperation with the school management of the Heilpädagogische Schule Dielsdorf
• Support and accompaniment of the interdisciplinary cooperation of all professional groups (pedagogical and medical therapeutic staff)
• Collaboration in the implementation of the educational mandate and the empowerment of children and adolescents
• Cooperation with parents or legal guardians, external specialists, and authorities
• Implementation of the cantonal specifications of the Volksschulamt of the Canton of Zürich (VSA)
• Project management; site search «Neuer Standort» Heilpädagogische Schule Zürich
• Cooperation in the Executive Board

Your profile

• Completion of an EDK recognized basic training (mandatory) and school management training
• Profound knowledge in the field of remedial or special education
• Many years of professional experience in the promotion of children and adolescents with a cognitive or multiple disability
• Knowledge of the special school sector of the Canton of Zürich and interest in current developments
• Motivating leader who is strong in communication, socially competent, and able to inspire with a clear leadership style, promotes ideas, and knows how to appreciate values
