Lecturer Design and Technology, emphasis Textile Design, Secondary Level I, 50% as of 1 July 2027 or by arrangement The PH Zürich actively shapes education, school, and teaching of today and tomorrow in teaching and research. The Sekundarstufe I department is responsible for the training of teachers at secondary level I. It currently offers four master's degree programs as well as subject extensions that impart professional competencies for teaching activities at the secondary level. For the area of Art, Design, Music and Performance, we are looking for a subject specialist in Design and Technology, emphasis Textile Design. What you will do. * Teaching in the subject Design and Technology with emphasis Textile Design * Conceiving, planning, conducting and evaluating teaching sessions for prospective secondary school teachers with a focus on in-depth subject-scientific competencies, particularly in the thematic area of clothing, fashion/fashion design and culture * Conceiving, conducting and assessing diploma examinations * Conducting subject-didactic coachings: accompanying and advising students in vocational practical training * Developing and conducting continuing education courses for serving teachers in Textile Design * Engaged participation in the further development of subject didactics * Representing the subject in committees What you bring with you. * Completed university degree at master's level related to subject-didactics Textile Design (focus on subject-scientific competencies in the thematic area of clothing, fashion/fashion design and culture) * Teaching diploma, preferably for secondary level I, as well as several years of teaching experience, particularly in Textile and Technical Design at secondary level I * Experience in teaching at tertiary level * High willingness to continuously engage in subject-didactic and subject-scientific further training * Joy in working in a team * Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility What will inspire you.
