For the Sportzentrum Buchlern with the associated Heuried grass sports facility, we are looking for an Operations Manager, 100 % as of 1 October 2026 or by arrangement. Tasks ## • You are responsible for the safe and economical operation of the sports center as well as the assigned sports facilities. • You lead your team of around 11 employees, plan assignments, promote their professional and personal development, and accompany our apprentices as a vocational trainer. • You ensure the operational readiness of buildings, facilities, machines, and equipment, coordinate external service providers, and guarantee compliance with occupational safety, health protection, and fire protection. • You control and optimize operational processes and resource deployment, further develop the offering, and organize training and event operations. • You represent the sports center internally and externally, support events and projects, and maintain contact with clubs, schools, and other user groups. • You live a pronounced service and host culture, handle customer inquiries, and actively contribute to high customer satisfaction. Profile ## • Technical or manual basic training (EFZ) as well as leadership training with leadership experience, ideally supplemented by further training in business administration or a degree in business administration, facility management, sports management, or a related field • Several years of experience in the operation, maintenance, or management of sports or leisure facilities • Service-oriented, resilient, and socially competent personality with a pragmatic, solution-oriented, and entrepreneurial way of thinking and working • Sound knowledge of relevant safety, hygiene, and operational standards as well as driving license Cat. It is the competence center for sports promotion and provides the sports-enthusiastic population and clubs with sports facilities including indoor and outdoor pools. The organization of compulsory swimming lessons as well as voluntary school sports are also among the core tasks of the Sportamt.
