Tasks You control and monitor the demanding plant operation in 3-shift operation via a process control system (PLS), initiate measures in the event of deviations, and maintain a production journal. You carry out inspection rounds and functional checks of individual plant areas, put individual subsystems or entire plant parts into or out of operation, perform plant switch-ons, and document your actions. You are the first point of contact for information of all kinds (alarms, malfunctions, events), handle these yourself or forward them, and request maintenance work using IH-software. You are responsible for the receipt of operating materials and for the loading of residues from the combustion process. Profile Vocational training (EFZ level) as well as further training to become a Boiler Operator with a federal professional diploma, or willingness to complete this further training with our support. Several years of professional experience in shift operation, preferably in the field of process engineering (thermal) plants. Experience working with a process control system as well as good PC application skills (MS-Office). Willingness to familiarize yourself with our complex waste incineration plant and the various processes, as well as enjoyment of an independent, self-responsible activity.
