Learn more about the UZH as an employer! ### Tasks • Independent handling of administration for a professor and her team of 5-8 scientific staff members • Complex correspondence, translations, reports and minute-taking in German and English • Support with contract-related and formal administrative processes • Processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices • Payment orders, expense and credit card settlements • Booking and budget control • Managing various complex National Fund, EU and third-party fund projects • Administrative support in teaching • Organization of trips, conferences, seminars and symposiums • Administrative support for domestic and foreign scientific guests • Material management and orders • Updating databases, maintenance of the website • Substitution of colleagues during their absence Profile • Commercial basic training, very good general education • Several years of professional experience in the areas of administration and accounting • Ideally experience in a legal or contract-related environment (e.g. as a legal assistant or in a comparable function) • Confidence and enjoyment in handling contracts, formal documents and administrative processes • Stylistically flawless German and excellent English skills (B2 or C1) in speaking and writing • Very good IT skills (MS Office suite, CMS etc.) • Independent, resilient, reliable and proactive personality • Extremely cooperative, service- and team-oriented • Efficient work organization, very good prioritization • Interest in economic topics • Enjoyment in working with scientists
