For our client, we are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst (m/f/d) with a focus on sales master data and processes. In this role, you will be part of an interdisciplinary core team and support a strategic initiative to further develop the master data and process landscape.

Your tasks:

• Analysis, collection and documentation of existing sales master data, business processes and IT system landscapes.
• Development of target images and target processes with a focus on customer and contract management, offer catalog management and reference data management.
• Identification of optimization and automation potential for the sustainable reduction of complexity.
• Collection, consolidation and documentation of functional and technical requirements in close coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Support in the evaluation, selection and introduction of sustainable solutions, including tenders and proofs-of-concept.
• Close cooperation with sales, specialist and IT departments as well as coordination with parallel projects and initiatives.
• Creation of sound decision-making bases, including business cases, effort estimates and risk analyses.
• Preparation and moderation of workshops as well as presentation of results and recommendations for action at management level.
• Contribution of current market trends and best practices in the field of customer and contract management.

Requirements:

Job Requirements

• Several years of sound experience as a Business Analyst in complex projects, preferably in a banking environment or a comparable industry.
• Experience at a senior expert level, ideally with at least 12 years of relevant professional experience.
• Deep understanding of sales processes, master data management as well as customer and contract management.
• Strong analytical and strategic skills for the development of target images, functional concepts and business cases.
• Proven experience in complex projects with numerous interfaces and different stakeholders.
• Very good knowledge of UML, BPMN and process management methods.
• Solid understanding of modern technologies, data structures and IT system architectures.
• Experience in working with agile and interdisciplinary teams.
• Confident use of Jira, Confluence or comparable agile project management tools.
• Very good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint for the creation of professional analyses and management presentations.
• Excellent communication and moderation skills as well as the ability to prepare complex matters in an understandable way.
• German language skills at C2 level as well as English language skills at least at B1 level.

• Specific experience with sales master data and their integration into complex banking and IT landscapes.
• Knowledge of current market trends, technologies and best practices in customer and contract management.
• Practical experience with AI-supported tools in the field of business analysis, process optimization or project implementation.
