Job description:

As a Senior Business Analyst / Business Engineer, you are an integral part of an interdisciplinary product team and accompany digital solutions from the problem definition to the successful launch.

Your tasks include:

• Analysis and structuring of customer needs, functional requirements, and complex problem statements in the mobile banking environment
• Development and evaluation of solution variants together with Product Owners, Software Engineers, Test Engineers, UX/UI Designers, and functional specialists
• Specification of requirements using User Stories, acceptance criteria, process models, mock-ups, and functional concepts
• Preparation and moderation of workshops as well as functional coordination
• Active stakeholder management between Business and IT
• Support in Discovery, User Research, prototyping, and the validation of new solution ideas
• Accompanying requirements through the entire lifecycle – from the initial problem statement through implementation to launch
• Support in testing, error analysis, and continuous quality improvement
• Proactive identification of improvement potential in products, processes, and collaboration
• Contributing your own ideas as well as constructively questioning existing requirements, solutions, and assumptions

In interdisciplinary product teams, Business, Engineering, Testing, and UX/UI work closely together to continuously further develop secure, stable, and modern mobile banking services.

Requirements:

• Several years of professional experience as a Business Engineer or Business Analyst in a digital product environment
• Very good knowledge of Requirements Engineering and Business Analysis
• Experience in the analysis of complex problem statements as well as the development of functional requirements and solution concepts
• Extensive experience in collaborating with interdisciplinary product teams
• Experience with agile working methods such as Scrum and Kanban
• Experience with User Stories, acceptance criteria, Story Mapping, and Backlog Refinement
• Knowledge of process and data modeling, for example BPMN or UML
• Experience with testing, UAT, and quality assurance
• Confident use of JIRA and Confluence
• Experience with digital products as well as understanding of technical dependencies between Frontend, Backend, and peripheral systems
• Very good communication, moderation, and stakeholder management skills
• Independent, iterative, and solution-oriented way of working with high initiative
• Ability to deal constructively with questions that are not yet fully defined and with uncertainty
• High willingness to learn, curiosity, and enjoyment of knowledge exchange
• German at C2 level

• Experience with Mobile Apps, iOS, and Android
• Experience in Mobile Banking
• Experience in banking, financial services, or a comparable regulated environment
• Experience with SAFe
