Job Description: Restaurant Service Employee Area of responsibility For our restaurant, we are looking for a reliable and efficiently working service person to support our team during lunch as well as in the evening. Our restaurant has 38 seats in the indoor area and, in the summer, 24 outdoor seats. Main tasks include looking after and serving our guests in the restaurant, both in the indoor and outdoor areas. The service person takes orders, serves food and drinks, and ensures that our guests feel welcome. Additionally, managing the takeaway area via Uber Eats is part of the area of responsibility. This includes preparing the takeaway orders, packing the food into the appropriate bags, and handing them over to the Uber delivery drivers. During the lunch service, the service person is also responsible for cleaning and putting away the dishes. The dishes are loaded into the dishwasher and then put away clean into the cupboards. In the evening, this task is omitted, as a separate employee is responsible for the washing up then. At the beginning of the lunch shift, the tables in the outdoor area are unlocked, prepared, and set. In the evening, the outdoor tables are locked again after closing time. Additionally, the toilets must be checked after every shift. This includes a short cleaning check, refilling soap, and emptying the waste bins. In the event of low guest occupancy, the service person provides additional support with simple cleaning tasks. These include, in particular, mopping the restaurant and keeping the area in front of the restaurant on the street clean. Service also includes preparing simple cocktails according to the menu. Prior knowledge is not mandatory for this, as preparation will be carefully demonstrated and taught here. Requirements We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and resilient person who enjoys interacting with guests and also works efficiently and independently in hectic situations. A well-groomed appearance, punctuality, and a sense of responsibility are important to us. The service person should be able to speak German fluently and have English language skills to ensure good communication with our guests and the chefs. Working hours The assignment takes place during lunch as well as in the evening, depending on the duty roster.
