What you do

• You are responsible for performance management in the Motorfahrzeuge area: You develop and monitor KPIs, analyze deviations, and derive concrete measures for claim costs, efficiency, leakage, and customer satisfaction.
• You independently analyze large datasets - from data preparation to interpretation - using SQL as well as Python or PySpark and continuously develop data-based analysis approaches.
• You accompany the annual planning and management process for your line and track the implementation of the agreed operational and financial measures throughout the year.
• You create meaningful reports for internal stakeholders and Group Claims, represent the underlying figures, and ensure the necessary governance.
• You are a sparring partner for the line managers and work closely with claims processing, underwriting, actuarial, and analytics to effectively combine specialist departments, data, and management needs.

What you bring

• You have a university degree in economics, statistics, data science, (business) mathematics, or a comparable field of study.
• You bring several years of experience in non-life insurance, ideally in a claims or performance environment, for example in the areas of Motorfahrzeuge, property, or liability.
• You work confidently with SQL and Python, ideally also with PySpark, and have experience with large datasets as well as reporting tools such as Power BI.
• You can classify complex analyses in an understandable way, formulate clear and actionable recommendations, and represent them convincingly to executives.
• You work independently, structurally, and solution-oriented, and actively drive topics forward.
• You communicate confidently in German and English.
