Do you want to actively shape process efficiency in P&C Underwriting and do you enjoy optimizing, automating, and digitizing end-to-end processes? With your drive, your strength in implementation, and your eye for the big picture, do you reliably bring changes to fruition?

In this role, you are part of the Underwriting business unit in the Workflow Efficiency & Business Support team and actively shape the further development of Zurich Schweiz. The position is becoming available as part of a replacement, as the previous job holder is retiring after many years at Zurich. Together with your team of nine experts, you will ensure that our underwriting processes are consistently oriented towards efficiency and customer excellence. In close exchange with product management, Market Facing Underwriting, and IT, you will develop a clear strategic direction and independently translate this into concrete, effective measures. With your project management, business, IT, and architecture competence, you will contribute both functional and technical know-how - and ensure noticeable impact in everyday life.

What awaits you

• You lead, develop, and coach a dedicated team in Business Analysis, Product Ownership, Business Architecture, and Business Support
• You support your team with your functional and technical expertise and implement optimizations yourself if necessary
• You design new P&C processes and continuously improve existing ones - with a focus on user/customer experience, quality, and efficiency - also in a complex system landscape
• You drive digitalization forward and use modern technologies for this, including AI
• Together with your team, you ensure the business support for the workflow system Pega and the new policy administration system Guidewire for various business units

What distinguishes you

• University degree or equivalent training in business administration or business informatics - ideally with a focus on process management
• Several years of experience in the private insurance business in an IT-proximate environment as a project manager, business analyst, business architect, or requirements engineer, preferably in P&C Underwriting
• Ability to develop C-Level-suitable strategies, combined with a strong stakeholder and team player mentality as well as the willingness to delve deeply into complex topics
• Very strong analytical and conceptual skills, excellent organizational skills, leadership qualities, as well as convincing presentation and communication skills
• Fluent German and English skills
