Head of Transport Economics Thinking about tomorrow, since 1976: INFRAS is a private and independent research and consulting company. We develop viable solutions for a sustainable future and advise the public sector and private companies. Our approximately 70 employees work in Zürich and Bern. For our team in Zürich, we are looking for a Head of Transport Economics 70-100% as of 1. October 2026 or by arrangement. What your tasks are: You lead the area of transport economics and policy and corresponding projects at the interface of applied research, administration, and the private sector. You support and advise our clients at home and abroad in advancing the mobility transition. You deal with, among other things, costs, financing, as well as policy and pricing measures in mobility and their effects. To this end, you develop both quantitative and qualitative analyses and prepare the results in an understandable way. You are responsible for acquisition, project management, personnel management, and the strategic direction of an important business area for us. You contribute your network and your ideas to the further development of the client and project portfolio. What you bring: You have a university degree in economics, transport economics, or related disciplines and many years of professional experience. You know the actors in transport in Switzerland and enjoy contributing your creativity and expertise to diverse economic and political topics of today's and future mobility. You are familiar with the acquisition and management of projects as well as moderation. Your strengths lie in consulting, leading interdisciplinary project teams, and analytical and conceptual thinking. You communicate precisely in German and English.
