Service Staff (Casual) 10%

The restaurant <<Flavour Kitchen>> is located in the VZ Werd building in Zürich and invites its guests to linger in an urban ambiance. In the restaurant with a counter concept, our guests can enjoy freshly prepared, seasonal daily bowls as well as the popular Signature Dishis and convince themselves of our wide vegetarian and vegan offering. At the coffee bar, we pamper our guests with first-class barista coffee as well as fresh baked goods inspired by John Baker. The restaurant has 150 seats and a terrace with 80 seats.

Are you our new team member who will support us as Service Staff (Casual) immediately or by arrangement?

You will work as a casual employee predominantly on Mondays and Tuesdays on an hourly wage basis in an approx. 10% workload. You will support us during occasional assignments at caterings and evening events both in Flavour Kitchen as well as in the ZFV operation of the EBP in Zürich. In addition, you will also help us in the dishwashing kitchen.

Your area of responsibility:

• Greeting and advising guests in the self-service restaurant
• Greeting and advising guests at the coffee bar
• Operating the cash register
• Plating the menus during lunch service
• Creation of the mise en place
• Ensuring an appealing product presentation
• Collaboration in caterings and special events
• Carrying out general tidying and cleaning work
• Implementation of ZFV quality and service standards
• Compliance with and implementation of hygiene and occupational safety guidelines
