Kanton Zürich Bildungsdirektion Mittelschul- und Berufsbildungsamt HR-Business Partner/in 60 - 80% EMPATHETIC AND SERVICE-ORIENTED The Mittelschul- und Berufsbildungsamt is the competence and service center for vocational training, gymnasiums, higher vocational training, and continuing education in the Canton of Zürich. We support and supervise secondary schools, vocational schools, providers of vocational preparatory years, and training companies. For our team, we are looking for an experienced and committed personality who, as a maternity replacement, impresses with advisory competence, strong proximity to operations, and enjoyment of operational HR work. The position is to be filled immediately and is limited until 30 September 2027. Your area of responsibility In this role, you will holistically advise and accompany managers and employees of the Mittelschul- und Berufsbildungsamt along the employee lifecycle. You advise and support supervisors and employees in all personnel-related topics and conduct both recruitment interviews as well as development and conflict interviews. You support the implementation of the personnel development strategy to ensure that employees can optimally develop and further their potential. Your profile You have several years of professional experience in a comparable HR function and move confidently in a complex organizational environment. Ideally, you are familiar with the requirements and processes of public administration and bring a good understanding of the peculiarities of a politically influenced environment. You have a recognized higher educational degree in the HR field, possess sound knowledge of labor law as well as a strong understanding of organizational contexts and governance issues, and have several years of experience in advising and accompanying managers in demanding personnel matters. Furthermore, you are characterized by high communication competence, advisory reliability, and a confident manner. Experience with SAP or SuccessFactors and Swiss+ is an advantage.
