Consultant – Banking Operations & Process Controls (m/f/d)

For an extensive quality assurance project in an international banking environment, we are looking for experienced Consultants and Senior Consultants (m/f/d) starting immediately.

The focus of the project is the review and quality assurance of existing processes and process controls within Private Banking Operations and various back-office functions.

In doing so, you will work closely with internal bank employees in a tandem model and analyze various operational banking processes regarding their documentation, controls, and quality.

Tasks

• Analysis and review of existing banking processes and process controls
• Execution of quality assurance reviews within various operations and back-office areas
• Examination of existing process and control documentation
• Identification of gaps, weaknesses, and optimization potential
• Structured documentation of the analysis and review results
• Collaboration with internal specialists of the bank in a tandem model
• Support in ensuring a uniform and traceable quality of processes and controls
• Participation in various retail banking processes, including:
• Account opening and account administration
• Estate and inheritance processing
• Mortgage and loan processes
• Other operational banking and back-office processes

Requirement Profile

• Professional experience in a financial services or banking environment
• Experience in at least one of the following areas:
• Process analysis and process optimization
• Process Controls / Internal Controls
• Banking Operations / Back Office
• Quality Assurance
• Operational Risk
• Internal or External Audit
• Good understanding of operational processes and control mechanisms
• Experience in Retail Banking, Private Banking, or Banking Operations is an advantage
• Analytical and structured way of working as well as the ability to quickly understand complex processes
• Experience in consulting or in project-based working environments is an advantage
• Confident handling of different stakeholders and strong communication skills
• Fluent German skills are mandatory, as a significant part of the existing process documentation is available in German
• Good English skills for collaboration in an international environment
