Position: Partner & Head of Litigation Location: Zurich Working time: 100% full-time Objective The Partner & Head of Litigation is responsible for leading the firm's dispute resolution and litigation department and offers national and international clients strategic advice and high-level representation in complex commercial, civil, and regulatory litigation. Tasks • Development and implementation of litigation strategies tailored to the client's economic, regulatory, and reputational objectives • Management and supervision of complex civil and commercial proceedings, including cross-border litigation and high-level trials • Representation of clients in a variety of disputes, including • Civil and commercial disputes, including contract enforcement and partner disputes • Financial market litigation, including prospectus liability, securities fraud, and investor disputes • Banking and stock exchange litigation, including regulatory enforcement and transactional disputes • Regulatory and compliance litigation with Swiss and international authorities • Contractual disputes related to breach of obligations, warranties, and indemnities • Arbitration and mediation proceedings in Switzerland and abroad • Representation of clients before Swiss courts, international arbitration tribunals, and regulatory authorities • Leadership and continuous development of the firm's litigation and dispute resolution practice • Maintenance and development of long-term client relationships through high-quality services and proactive engagement • Development of business development strategies, contribution to the thought leadership role (e.g., through articles, webinars, events) and representation of the firm at industry conferences • Mentoring and coaching of junior lawyers and associates, promoting professional development and knowledge sharing • Ensuring compliance with internal quality standards, billing targets, and operational objectives Requirements Education • Admission to the Swiss bar and first-class qualifications • Excellent academic results in law (master / doctorate) • Additional studies in business law or financial law Professional experience • At least 10 years of proven professional experience as a lawyer, preferably as a partner in a law firm, an audit firm, or in a leadership position in the legal department of a bank or an asset management company Languages • Oral and written proficiency in English and German • Additional languages (e.g., French, Italian) are an asset.
