Reporting directly to the director of Energie Durable SA, you will work on projects from end to end, from the identification of the opportunity to commissioning and transfer to the operations teams. A true project entrepreneur, you will actively contribute to the growth of the company and the development of high-performance energy solutions in French-speaking Switzerland.
Tasks/Responsibilities
Identify opportunities: analyze energy consumption, customer needs, and technical constraints, evaluate economic and energy potential, develop a network of partners, local authorities, and engineering firms, and ensure regulatory and technological monitoring
Perform technical, economic, environmental, and regulatory feasibility studies and define the most relevant energy concepts (district heating, wood-energy, heat pumps, photovoltaics, energy recovery, etc.)
Develop preliminary dimensioning, estimate investments (CAPEX), operating costs (OPEX), and analyze project profitability
Set up projects: construct economic models and business plans, determine financing methods, manage risks, and prepare decision-making files for management and the board of directors
Coordinate obtaining administrative and regulatory authorizations and participate in the negotiation and preparation of client, supplier, and partner contracts
Lead implementation: calls for tender, selection and coordination of engineering firms and subcontractors, site management, management of costs, quality, risks, and deadlines
Organize and supervise the commissioning of installations, validate technical and energy performance, guarantee compliance, and support operators during handover
Profile
HES, EPF engineering degree or equivalent university training with a specialization in the energy field
Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in the development, setup, and implementation of energy projects, with demonstrated experience in managing complex projects in Switzerland
Mastery of financing and profitability mechanisms as well as the financial and contractual management of energy projects
Good knowledge of the Swiss regulatory context and an established professional network in French-speaking Switzerland
Excellent negotiation, representation, and management skills for multidisciplinary projects
Fluent French, English B2; German is a plus
Entrepreneurial, autonomous, and responsible profile, results-oriented, comfortable in a family SME, agile and collaborative
