To reinforce the IT Change and Release Management team, we are looking for a motivated personality as of 01.09.2026 or by arrangement. The application portfolio includes over 100 specialist applications as well as various service departments. The IT department of the Support Sozialdepartement acts as a bridge builder, representing the interests of the Sozialdepartement (SD) towards the city-wide IT (OIZ), realizes IT solutions for its internal customers, plans and coordinates the IT infrastructure for the department, and ensures the operation and support of the specialist applications in the SD. Tasks ## • You form the interface between specialist departments, software suppliers, and the central IT OIZ and support the translation of strategic requirements into technical specifications. • You analyze functional requirements in close cooperation with the specialist departments and translate these into system-specific detailed specifications and accompany their implementation until introduction. • You are responsible for the smooth process of IT change and release management of the specialist applications you supervise, coordinate the prioritization and implementation of changes together with the relevant stakeholders, and take the lead for test management including test specification, execution, and documentation. • You communicate promptly, appropriately for the recipient, and appreciatively, and maintain professional cooperation with your stakeholders. • You ensure that changes and releases are planned, tested, and implemented according to the defined processes, quality standards, budget specifications, and approval procedures. • You identify risks and rectify problems in a timely manner and know how to handle escalations professionally. • You ensure the updating of documentation and knowledge transfer and are responsible for the clean handover to ongoing operations.
