Head of Corporate Management (Member of the Executive Board)

Shape the future As part of a succession arrangement, we are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurially minded and convincing leadership personality as Head of Corporate Management (Member of the Executive Board). As a member of the Executive Board, you will actively shape the strategic and economic development of the SBV and share responsibility for the management and development of the entire organization. You will lead the Corporate Management department with around 15 employees and be responsible for its personnel, organizational and economic development. You will consistently develop the department's products and services in line with the needs of the member companies and the challenges of the industry. In doing so, you will also contribute to increasing the resulting revenues. Independently of the individual interests of certain companies, you will represent the common concerns of the members with conviction towards sections, associations, authorities, politics, social partners, clients and planners. You will bring together different interests, develop viable solutions and position the SBV as a strong and recognized voice of the industry. In addition, you will shape central developments in the industry and drive them forward -- particularly in the areas of norms and standards, public procurement as well as digitalization and transformation of construction processes. For this demanding function, you have sound operational experience in a company in the main construction industry and several years of leadership experience at the level of Executive Board, Department Head or in a comparable function. You know the entire value chain of the main construction industry -- from calculation and acquisition to project realization. You have a higher education in construction, ideally supplemented by a business administration education or a management education. You combine strategic foresight with entrepreneurial thinking, possess strong negotiation skills and translate strategic requirements into concrete results. Thanks to your communication strength, you move confidently in the interaction between companies, associations, politics and other stakeholders. You understand political and association decision-making processes and act effectively even in complex structures. You communicate with stylistic confidence in German and additionally convince with very good French language skills. The economic and cultural conditions of German-speaking and French-speaking Switzerland are familiar to you, and you know how to mediate between the different perspectives. Italian language skills are an advantage. You work at the locations Zürich and Lausanne and are regularly present at both.
