Clerk Finance and Accounting (30 - 40%)

You will support our Finance team - consisting of our fractional CFO and our Senior Accountant - in the ongoing accounting of ViCOLLECTIVE AG and Forlam Ventures and ensure that documents, payments, and accounts are processed cleanly and on time.

In doing so, you work independently, think beyond mere processing, and continuously develop existing processes. You enjoy using modern tools, automation, and AI to make recurring tasks more efficient.

We are looking for a person who can ideally start in early January 2027.

• You are responsible for accounts payable from entry to payment proposal. You check invoices for content, post them correctly, and clarify discrepancies directly with suppliers and internal departments.
• You manage accounts receivable and open items independently. You allocate incoming payments, and you conduct the dunning process so that nothing is left pending.
• You continuously reconcile bank, credit card, and clearing accounts. You track differences to their cause instead of writing them off.
• In the monthly closing, you are responsible for your closing steps on schedule and deliver them reconciled and documented.
• For VAT and, if applicable, payroll administration, you prepare the documents and plausibilize them.
• You question recurring processes and suggest simplifications, preferably with AI and automation. You implement good ideas yourself.
• During the transition from Abacus to Odoo from 2027, you bring in the user perspective and test the new processes.
• Completed training as a clerk in finance and accounting or comparable practical experience
• Good to very good Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP/INDEX, Pivot, clean formula logic)
• Experience with an ERP system such as Abacus, Odoo, or Bexio; we currently work with Abacus and from 2027 with Odoo
• Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Good understanding of data flows between different systems
• You can independently plausibilize numbers and trace deviations back to their cause
• Fluent German in spoken and written form
• Advantageous: Experience in payroll accounting
• You have a fine sense for numbers and work carefully – beyond mere ticking off boxes
• You work independently and with individual responsibility, even with a part-time workload
• You handle sensitive financial and personal data discreetly and responsibly
• You quickly find your way into existing processes and enjoy actively helping to shape and improve them
• You are open to AI and automation, like trying out new tools, and enjoy simplifying recurring processes. Prior knowledge is welcome but not a requirement
