HR Manager Operations 100 % (m/f/d) In this responsible key position with high visibility within the company, you will actively shape the HR landscape of our location in Zürich at the airport. You will lead the HR team operationally and strategically, act as a sparring partner to the General Manager, and be responsible for all HR topics for a unit of up to approx. 1'100 employees. In an international airline catering environment, you will manage the entire employee journey and ensure future-oriented, efficient, and effective personnel work. Your tasks: You lead the entire HR area at the Zürich Flughafen location with a focus on recruiting, HR administration, HR business partnership, and people development. In doing so, you are responsible for a team of 7 employees You ensure professional implementation of all HR processes along the employee lifecycle in compliance with all labor law, regulatory, and contractual requirements As a strategic sparring partner and right hand to the General Manager, you advise and coach management and leaders in all operational and strategic HR topics You implement regional and global HR strategies, initiatives, and projects in cooperation with national and international HR stakeholders You analyze and further develop the HR organization through digitalization, automation, and the targeted use of modern HR technologies You shape and promote a pleasant corporate culture by anchoring the gategroup Values and a transparent and active information culture, including by means of Beekeeper You are responsible for employer branding, talent acquisition, and candidate experience, and develop innovative measures to position Gate Gourmet as an attractive employer and to win and retain talent in the long term You represent employer interests towards employee representations, unions, authorities, and other relevant stakeholders You are responsible for the co-design and assurance of wage policy, including the preparation and support of wage rounds in cooperation with the HR Director and compensation analyses You create monthly HR reports, analyze relevant key figures, and derive concrete recommendations for action from them As a member of the HR management team and deputy for our HRIS Switzerland, you actively contribute to the further development of the HR landscape in Switzerland What you bring with you: Several years of experience in a comparable HR leadership function in a dynamic and operational environment Successful completion as an HR specialist (HR-Fachmann/ HR-Fachfrau) or a similar degree in the field of HR / business administration Fluent English and German skills; other languages are an advantage Strong leadership qualities & the ability to develop, coach, and support your team An upbeat personality with drive, resilience, and a "can do" mentality Good IT user knowledge (MS Office, AI, advantageously Workday, Beekeeper, Mobatime) Experience in project and change management How we convince you: Your individual further development is important to us, because at the beginning of success are our employees, who write the history of the Gate Group.
