In our newly founded Community team, you will take on team responsibility and, together with Product, Engineering and other stakeholders, further expand central Community products – from Ratings & Reviews to Q&As and Discussions to Community profiles. In doing so, you will design cross-product solutions that give users orientation, create trust and promote interaction. You will further develop existing Community functionalities, bring structure to moderation and content management and help to make the Community a real added value for customers and Galaxus in the long term. For this, we are looking for a responsible person with a lot of drive, technical curiosity, empathy and strong communication skills – someone who wants to form a new team, take ownership and translate a clear product vision into effective solutions together with motivated engineers. Teamleader Software Engineering - Community (m/f/d) Your tasks You build up the newly founded Engineering team, actively participate in recruiting new developers and create the prerequisites for successful collaboration Depending on the phase of team building, you will work hands-on for about 50 % of your time: You develop scalable Community features together with the team, participate in architectural decisions and ensure the technical and specialist direction in the team You work closely with the Product Owner, the Software Architect and the entire team on the development of sustainable and future-oriented software solutions The leadership of the Software Engineering team as well as the professional and personal development of your team members is your responsibility You take up the concerns of your team and, as a reliable leader, create a motivating and positive environment Your skills Strong leadership and empathy skills as well as enjoyment in dealing with different personalities and cultural backgrounds You have sound FullStack experience – in particular with C#, .NET and MS SQL as well as with modern web and frontend technologies, distributed systems and architectures Confident use of and interest in modern AI tools (e.g. Code, Coding-Assistants, Agents, Skills) in analysis, conception, implementation and testing – including the ability to integrate these in a reflective, efficient and responsible manner into the development process You understand how data, analytics and experiments are used for product decisions.
