For our division MCS Mission Critical Systems, we are looking for a Service Operation Desk Engineer (m/f/d) at the Zurich location to strengthen our team at the earliest possible date.

Your tasks

• Receipt of disturbances and service requests in an exciting area of alerting and communication systems, applications and other critical infrastructures.
• You process all 1st and 2nd level tasks in connection with our customers, users and suppliers.
• Triage, tracking and escalation of tickets.
• Preparation of reports and statistics.
• Proactive system monitoring and support of the systems.
• Execution of routine operational activities.
• Maintenance of documentation and information platforms.
• Active assistance in the continuous improvement process.

Your profile

• You have a completed technical training in the field of ICT / network and bring at least 2 years of professional experience in 1st/2nd-level support.
• Through your excellent way of communicating, you find a solution to the problem even with difficult communication partners.
• High customer and service orientation.
• You are a person eager to learn and enthusiastic and open to new technologies.
• You possess an analytical approach.
• German business fluent, French and/or Italian B2 as a plus, English as the company language.
• Willingness for extended operating hours and on-call service 7x24h
• Since our projects are located in a military and governmental environment, you meet the conditions for passing the personal security check PSP (Swiss citizenship or settlement permit C).
