Together with the municipal tax offices, the cantonal tax office collects taxes for the Confederation, the Canton, and the municipalities. We support private individuals and companies throughout the entire tax collection process. For this purpose, around 800 qualified employees are engaged at the location in Zürich Altstetten. In the Digital Services department, we ensure that our IT services meet the high requirements of a modern tax office. As an ICT Governance and Service Manager, you will take on a key position in this newly created role between internal IT, the Amt für Informatik (AFI), our software suppliers, and the municipal tax offices -- with a strategic view, proximity to operational processes, and a lot of personal intuition. Our services support over 2'500 municipal and cantonal employees daily, as well as over one million private individuals and companies annually with tax declarations. Your responsibility * In this key position, you are responsible for all aspects of the ICT governance of the cantonal tax office. * You translate the specifications of the Canton, the AFI, the OECD, and other bodies into proportionate and practical solutions. * Where possible, you influence the design of the specifications made to us. * You are in the lead during audits of our IT. * You create specifications for our suppliers, define the cooperation models, and lay the foundations for successful service provision. * You plan and control future performance requirements and introduce new requirements into the change process in a structured manner. * You further develop IT Service Management and anchor it in the IT governance system using guidelines, process roles, control indicators, etc. Your profile * You have several years of experience in IT governance; ideally using the governance and service management frameworks COBIT and ITIL. * You have a university degree in the field of computer science, business administration, management, or a comparable field. * You know how to bring different interests together, mediate in a solution-oriented manner, and exert influence -- both at the operational and strategic levels. * A structured, independent, and proactive way of working with a good intuition for your counterpart characterizes you as much as a high sense of quality and responsibility. * Very good German language skills in spoken and written form are required.
