Cafeteria Manager: - 100%

The new gastronomy in Technopark Zürich consists of a self-service restaurant in which up to 600 guests are pampered daily with fresh, seasonal dishes. The coffee bar offers guests around 60 seats to linger. In addition, various internal and external caterings, events, banquets, and apéros for up to 450 people are carried out. In accordance with the ZFV philosophy, cooking is done fresh on-site with regional as well as ecologically sensible and fair-trade produced foods.

Are you our new team member who will support us as a Cafeteria Manager: starting 01. October 2026 or by arrangement? You will work from Monday to Friday in a 100% workload from 06:15 to 15:30. During events, working hours may vary.

Your area of activity:

• Management and organization of the area
• Reception, clarification, and implementation of guest needs and wishes
• Responsibility for a visible, attentive, and service-oriented presence in the dining area during peak times
• Performing the role of host:s
• Execution of orders
• Preparation of various coffee specialties and contribution of ideas for the further development of an inspiring and innovative range planning
• Sale of warm and cold snacks and baked goods
• Ensuring an appealing product presentation as well as participation in caterings and special occasions
• Completion of general tidying and cleaning work
• Implementation and ensuring of quality standards and ZFV guidelines (hygiene and occupational safety, service, etc.)

Your strengths:

• 5 years of professional experience in gastronomy / hotel management
• Experience in guest interaction
• Very good oral German skills
• Initial experience in administrative tasks such as orders
