Application Support & Run-the-Bank Specialist

Become part of a key project at the center of a comprehensive CRM/CLM transformation. As an Application Support & Run-the-Bank Specialist, you will ensure the stability and performance of the existing application landscape while acting as a central interface between the business departments, operations, and the migration program. With your expertise, you will help maintain smooth daily operations, resolve complex production problems, and ensure the necessary transparency regarding processes, data, and system functions. This position offers a unique combination of operational application support, data analysis, and stakeholder management. With your know-how in SQL and in Production Support, you will make a direct contribution to data quality, operational excellence, and the successful migration to a future-proof platform. In doing so, you will work closely with development teams, architects, and business stakeholders from across the organization. What would your activities be? Ensuring the stable operation of the existing CRM/CLM application during the migration phase. Analysis, processing, and tracking of incidents, service requests, and functional inquiries. Ensuring data quality and the stability of existing business processes. Supporting business departments with questions regarding data, processes, and system functionalities. Close cooperation with developers, architecture teams, and external service providers. Documentation of existing business processes, data structures, and system logics as a basis for the migration to the target platform. Analysis of production problems as well as identification of causes using logfile analyses, SQL queries, and data analyses. Support with audits, regulatory requirements, and compliance topics related to the legacy system. Ensuring a controlled parallel operation of old and target systems until full replacement. What are we looking for? Several years of experience in application management, Application Support, or Business Application Support. Sound knowledge of incident, problem, and change management. Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with existing applications, business processes, and data models. Experience in the analysis and resolution of operational production problems. Strong analytical skills as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working. High service and customer orientation when dealing with business departments and stakeholders. Analysis of data errors and user problems at the database level. Conducting ad-hoc evaluations for business departments, project teams, and management stakeholders. Support with incident and problem analyses through SQL-based root cause analyses. Comparison, reconciliation, and validation of data between old and target systems. Development and implementation of data validations to ensure data quality in operations and during migration. Proficient use of relational databases as well as SQL queries for analysis and support tasks. Experience with logfile analyses and data quality checks is an advantage.
